Continuous Cast Iron Solutions: Helping Save You Time and Money
Published on March 27, 2025

At Lawton Standard AIABar, we’re dedicated to customer service and quality parts. Our continuous cast iron and bronze components are trusted across industries—especially for hydraulic casting solutions. We recently sat down with Debbie Myszewski to explore what makes AIA stand out as an industrial cast iron supplier.
Why AIA Stands Apart
“We’ve been around for quite a few years and we’re not going anywhere,” said Myszewski. She added that “our material is good material and our machinability stands up to the competition.”
Our line of continuous cast iron is poured continuously, reducing porosity and slag. That means stronger, more machinable parts—built to perform.
We offer:
- Raw, cut-to-length, and finished components
- A range of grades, sizes, and shapes
- Quick fulfillment from stock or made to spec
“We focus on the hydraulic field, making lots of cylinders and manifolds for the hydraulic industry,” said Myszewski. “Pretty much where we want to stay. We’re good at it and we know what we’re doing.”

Inventory Programs That Reduce Downtime
Custom stocking programs are designed to keep your production moving and eliminate emergency delays.
“We’re always here, we’re always open,” said Myszewski.
“We have a couple of companies we try to keep three months of inventory in stock for them,” she explained. “A couple of our customers, we have finished machined parts we have in stock for them, so if they have an emergency, they can come and get their part right away.”
We also maintain a large in-house inventory of:
- Tubes
- Squares
- Blocks
- Bars
Available in both cast iron and bronze bar stock, ready to ship.
Custom Machining for Continuous Cast Iron and Bronze Parts
Let us take machining off your plate. We provide value-added services that reduce your labor time and cut costs.
“We do OD-ID, so we’ll put a hole in a solid round piece of continuous cast iron or bronze for our customers,” said Myszewski.
Additional capabilities include:
- Plates for pattern shops
- Near-net shaping and milling
- Cut-to-length bars
- Finished machined parts in bronze and continuous cast iron
“We do an almost finished milled part and either cut it to length or ship it in full bars to our customers,” said Myszewski. “And we do finished machined parts in bronze and continuous cast iron for our customers based on their drawings.”
Our machining rates are highly competitive, making continuous cast a cost-effective choice for custom components.
Fast Shipping from Strategic Warehouse Locations
Need parts fast? We ship quickly from:
- Waukesha, Wisconsin
- Baltimore, Maryland
This strategic footprint enables us to fulfill orders nationwide—fast.
“We’re very customer-oriented,” said Myszewski. “We really work with our customers and try to help them out. And we get things out the door when they need it.”
