AIABar continuous cast iron is ideal for couplings
Cast iron's durability and corrosion resistance have made it the standard for in-ground and above-ground couplings to connect pipes in water lines, storm and wastewater pipes, and vent piping. However, not all cast iron is created equally.
Besides providing all grades of AIABar cast iron in raw form, Lawton Standard has an in-house specialty casting and precision CNC machining shop where we can manufacture any couplings you require. Whether you need couplings for different diameter pipes, to repair split pipes, or to correct misaligned piping, we can produce them far more cost-effectively than if you were to purchase AIABar and have it shipped elsewhere for the production of your parts.
We stock AIABar continuous cast iron in all grades
AIABar cast iron offers significant advantages over sand cast and ingot cast iron. With its uniform metallic structure, AIABar is much easier to machine than sand-cast iron. Our continuous cast iron process solidifies the iron uniformly and produces a far more durable iron. Surprisingly, AIABar costs less than sand-cast or ingot-cast iron.
As the worldwide leader in AIABar continuous cast iron tubing, bars, and components, Lawton Standard can provide what you need when you need it. Ductile or gray iron, from V1A to V5, Lawton Standard is your one-stop source for raw materials and finished products manufactured to your precise specifications.
Cast iron grades available:
- CC-2 Class 40 gray cast iron
- CC-3 65-45-12 ASTM A536 ductile iron
- CC-4 80-55-06 ASTM A536 SG ductile iron
- CC-5 (HT) 100-70-03 ductile iron
